No... there omnivores. I used to have one that ate nuts and talipia every feeding. He also had no problem chasing feeder fish
so they don't eat nuts but you fed yours nuts every feeding? you make little to no sense.

Yeah apparently they introduced them there for a food fish- but they don't have enough to eat so they have been known to eat man nuts instead of tree nuts if the opurtnity arises- having owned a RBP I find it very believable...... And in a twisted way , funny....

I have one pacu that I don't trust. He's a very curious fellow and he investigates everything with his mouth and teeth. He checks out everything that potentially could fit in his mouth. If I were to every get in the tank with him, I would have to keep an eye on him the whole time. Even with wet suit booties on, I think he would try and bite my toes.
