Recognize this variant?

Thanks, guys. :D

PP, I am a little worried about the size difference, but I also know that once any female decides to kill her mate, it doesn't really matter what size he is. :)

Gerry ~ I had the same problem except it was the other way around. My male lent just about killed my female. . . I was pretty lucky to save her.

He was bout 10" and she was about 6", they started about the same size though.

I had to grow her out till she was almost 9" before I risked putting them together again. Aside from the initial first few squabbles, they have been fine now, and are practically inseparable.

Point is, don't risk it. Seperate them, grow them out so they are closer to the same size, then gradually reintroduce them to each other. Would be a shame to loose that male and not be able to find another. :(

I hear you, Peanut.

I posted these photos on a local website and a guy popped up saying he had a 10" male. I'm going to try to purchase it. :naughty:

Hopefully it will be the same variant. Thats some pretty quick growth to be at 10" already if they all came from the same batch.

Heres to hoping though! Make sure you keep a close eye on them. The tables being turned on her might not be pretty. Haha

The guy has not responded so I'm not sure what's up. Either way, I wouldn't take it unless I was 100% certain it's the same variant.
