Recomend a unique reptile for me?

Water dragons arent very happy in tanks either, they need a enclosure similar to a small iguana in order to trive, also most dont like vegs or fruits (but they do need them in the insect gutts, for vitamins). If your going for a water dragon, aussis are the hardiest ones.

The only things to remenbar about Uros is that they need a really hot basking spot to digest their food and keep their metabolism in top condition (obviously they also need shadow and cool places), very good quality uvb ligthing and a diet based as much as possible on wild herbs such as dandilion, Malva silvestris, Hibiscus, etc.
 
Well I think i just might go with the crested. But i think im going to buy a real terrarium though. I was at a pet shop an i seen one for $8.00 I thought those cost like 60 bucks. I might just scoop him up.
 
how big was it? even on sale i doubt a pet store would be selling a suitable size cage for a crested for $8 that would be a steal!
 
if you dont mind upgrading your tank get an argus monitor. they have awesome colors and eat mice and evetually rats or whatever meat you want to fed them. mine eats rats, birds that hit the window, feeder fish, lunch meat and left overs

It was about 4" long. It was just the gecko not the cage.
 
lol oh ok yeah that makes more sense haha, but thats still a steal!! i have a local breeder here in my town and they still sell them for like 40 so petstore would sell for even more im sure, and yeah there are prepared foods for them that are good like already stated
