red belly piranha eggs???

you need to do lot of water change and keep clean keep clean keep clean your fry will grow successful if you dont do lot of water change or dont clean your tank therefore the fry will die.

hey Charlie... im located in hellertown and just sold my 10 Red Bellies that i kept in a 140 gallon tank.... Once they spawn, keep your water clean, Cause they will continue to do so over and over. Youll have many more chances for success. i fed mine crushed flake food and they would devour it ... but i never tried to raise my fry. I would get a 75%-80% hatching rate... but within a month the babies would be eaten by the other fish....Good Luck

so you would leave the eggs in the parent tank? i dont think i could keep them alive i have a 250g tank and 3 fx5 filters now way for me to get food to the bottom of the tank. how did you manage it.. hellertown is close maybe you can help me out on the next spawn. this must be the 10th time they spawned and i left them in the tank and only 2 surived..sry for bad spelling in a rush
 
That is a beautiful setup you got there. I like it. Breeding is fun, sometimes we succeed sometimes we don't--it's always fun to do it though.

I am an aquaculture for 17 years experince. so you need to do water change a lot and keep clean, when you feed bbs 2 hour you have to remove dead bbs and do water change, when you next to feed bbs to the babies. ALWAYS clean and W/C will successful spawned.

I bred and raised many varity of fish, Discus, Angel, Stingray, Black Ghost Kinfeifsh, Green and Gold Servrums, Rainbow, Cory catfish, and more.

i will keep trying. i will also let all of you know how the next spawn go's. should be soon cause all my piranha's are turning black/purple again.. you all know what that means more eggs .. thanks again all of you. i will update ya on my next try. also fyi im doing this out of the love for my fish not money.
