Great video. They really took over that tank.

You will be fine removing them any time now.

Thanks. I know they were turning into monsters. Who would have thought 3.5" fish could take up a 6' tank. Makes me rethink wanting multiple pairs :nilly:. I moved them to the fry tank this morning. Fingers crossed.

Got a brand new batch of free swimmers in my fry tank and i am off to a much better start this time. They have been in there for 24 hours and have not lost a single one. They dropped like flies last time. It seems as if they are actually eating this time around. I am feeding San Fran Bay 'frozen baby brine shrimp'. Will update over the next couple weeks. I may raise them to an inch and ship them out. Its a little cold to be shipping baby fish around.

Great news. To get to 1" will take at least 6 months. These guys grow slooow, especially without a heater.

You just reminded me that I forgot to send you that food. I put it in an envelope and will get it out.

sounds good. thanks bill. i appreciate it. how are your little ones?

The parents are in my main community tank right now so the tank sits at 78. the little ones were transferred to that same temp so maybe they will grow a bit quicker.

Sent all my fry off to someone. Selling and shipping them was a bit of a hassle as I am not set up properly to do so.

Next spawn I will leave in the tank and let the parents care for them. That is always fun to watch.
