There are hundreds of tetra species down there. Ken
 
i currently have lemon tetras and black neons i have done some research but cant seem to find something that seems native

They are not in the hobby unless you get them from someone who went down and collected. Only species that occurs close to down there that I know of are serape and buenos aries tetras.

tetras would be nice, but how much would they be likely to cost?
 
Little cute Tetras take up valuable space, unless someone want to pay me for them, no. I'll bring back some Ogliosarcus and Hoplias, but they are predatory and I can sell them for good money. Ken
 
I'm getting some F1 red ceibal fry this week, but it'll be the first of the year before they are big enough to sell. Ken

if you get some from uruguay to sell ill take those but if not count me in on these fry.
