Red Ceibals or Gymnogeophagus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I spoke to moke at imperial tropicals and he said they can get pretty nasty.

Probably gonna order them tonight. My son wants exodons lol but i dont want to have to use a heater

Duanes did you have yours on dark or light substrate ?

Although I use a fairly light colored pool filter sand in almost all my tanks,
there is a lot of darker wood for cover, and floating plants for shade.
I believe one of the reasons your argentea might be pale, is the bright light, juxtaposed with the bright sand.

I m gonna mix in some darker colored gravel to the argentea tank. I was gonna use flourite black sand for the ceibals but think it may darken them up too much. Probably go with pfs and heavily plant it with some rocks and a small pot

Thanks for all the help guys but it looks like this isnt gonna happen right now. My pearsie and L600 keep fighting the pearsei is really no match got shredded up yesterday. So the tank that was going to be for the ceibals will house the L600 intil i can figure out what to do with it.
