don't get mislead if its a hybrid because there's nothing wrong with a rd/midas...unless its something else

invisyblegpesy-those don't look like Red devils-something about the mouth and body shape that is different to a RD.

Yup red devil, seen plenty like this. Pointy snout gives it away will get colour eventually.

how can you definitively say that it is one or the other? how can you say that it wont grow to maturity and stay barred? just as a matter of opinion mine would be that you dont have any credibility and the THOUSANDS of red devils you have seen were probably all either or and possibly most of them were hybrids of the two. someone that spends there life breeding and selling wild caught cichlids with boatloads of experience even said that it is not definitive one or the other, and if anyone could id it ken could.

it looks like a little citrinellus, i don't know if it's a red devil, you would have to wait for a few months to really know what that is.
