Ok so as long as you plan on getting a lareger tank in the very near future i would say dont put them together. But if you got a bigger tank then go for it tank mate compatibility is as much about trial and error as it is what the books say in agression. I have mixed tanks of african and central and south american. Ie my one tank has a 8"rd a 7" female midevil a 7"fh 4 africans about 6" each a bala shark and a giant danio. Only problem i had was the midevil when she was younger she was always trying to kill stuff. But dithers help

macframalama you opinion was killed when you said you feed your fish frogs. Why?Have you heard of parasites tiny things that can kill your fish? Please do not tell me you have been doing it for longtime because that does not make anything better just shows irresponsibility fish in the wild eat bugs and stuff because they have to so they end up diseased or with IP's.Troll question probably on a troll profile he has 14 posts one is this...

I have a question. Who cares what fish anyone houses in any tank? He asked if he should house them together and everyone said no. He is the only one that's gonna loose a fish. Most of the fish we keep wouldn't be alive in the wild anyway. A small percentage of fry live till adulthood in the wild. Since we decided keeping fish in small glass boxes is "humane" then what does it matter who keeps what where? Does anyone honestly think fish are happier in larger tanks? Fish want territory, food, and to mate and that's it. Why put each other down? Does it do any good? No.

Okay, So if fish are so unhappy, Does it do any good to make them unhappier? Basically your saying who cares if someone houses an Arapaima in a 10 gallon tank. You know what doesn't do any good? Making ignorant comments.

I think he's trying to say who cares its he's loss?

Yes, that's basically what I was getting at. He asked a question, and then people started attacking him when what does it matter to anyone else what he does? All we can do is give our advice, and if they don't take it there is nothing we can do about it. So, why attack and make accusations about people? I would love to know what part of my comment was "ignorant"? I thought what I said was right. Fish don't feel happiness, or sadness. Could they be unhealthy in small tanks? Of course.
