i've got a mature male red devil,he's in a 90gal by himself.I had to take the flowerhorn/dempsey/convict out .He wouldn't let them out of the cave.any suggestions on what if anything i can put in with him.Maybe a female of the same size.He's really mean he even bites my hand when i try to clean his tank.

chances are if hes was trying to beat on all them then the only thing that i think would work is a pair. find a female that he likes. or you could put smaller 2-3inch fish in like exodons. but if you want to stay sa/ca then a female.

i mean a female rd that he likes. you cant just go throw any female in there and expect it to work. the female my not like him and vise versa. although you could mey get it to work on your first attemp. good luck
