wow thats along time ago.. you were probably one of the few owners of red devil back then...you were ahead of your time... he was a brute.... handsome devil...

Only her. No fry. A few days ago was her first time laying eggs. I don't think i'll mate her until I find the perfect male.
I heard that RDs mate for life...?
If so Im keeping her alone till mister perfect comes along.

i thought i would throw this action shot of my boy, he is growing like a weed. The flash takes aways some of his orangeish red color but trust me he is all red. He is getting really hard to photograph, i have to tap on the side of the tank to get his attention so he will sit still for a few seconds.

He is by far my favorite, i am already attached to him. He is full of personality, flares up at me if i step in the living room, and starts swimming all over the tank.

i don't know if it is a fact that they mate for life..but looking for mr right is the perfect thing to do for this beautiful female...
