They live in my community tank.

Originally picked up as 2 boys but the fry they had shot that idea to pieces. Have saved about 60 fry to growout and see how they look.

Seems like it's an all to common mistake. Midas and Red devils are different fish, not by much but there are a few differences. First of all, Red devils do not really grow a hump, they barely grow a hump, only males. Second, midas have like a orange-ish body with white scales but red devils is either just Red or White. Red devils have black eyes as juveniles, i am not sure when they are adults though. Just thought i would clarify that.
 
here's my 4" red devil, full of anger all the time. any time i walk by him he bashes his head up to the glass and flares up at me, should be fun when he gets older. he is in a 55g all by himself for now then being moved to 100g by himself.
