how big do these guys get? can they be kept with fish? are they messy when they poop?

They get big. I've seen them at 12"+. They require land and water, so your average aquarium isn't going to cut it. From past experience, these guys are messy. Still, if you've got an empty 20g sitting around, nothing cooler than a turtle.

yea, they're VERY messy. no matter how massive your filtration is, the water will be BROWN lol. well, that was a little exaggerated but still, they're not going to do well with fish.
