I don't know why you're having so much problems. I drop in shrimp pellets it drops on his head and he eats it. I drop in blood worms and he eats it. Everything I throw in there my red fin eats it.

I wish I knew why too I mean he's pretty big I thought he'd be the one I fed more our of all my

Mine's always active and very aggressive with all foods, even algae wafers I throw in for the cats. Crayfish are perfectly fine for wolves to eat. Just make sure they are an appropriate size. My wolf is about 7-8" and he eats 1" crays, no problem.

cryfish are are an option if ur willing to risk injuries. I would definiately feed my wolf fish fillets anyday though.

My red wolf, when I had him, ate crayfish.

I remember the first time, the crayfish wasn't even meant to be a prey item as it was the same size as the wolf (both @ 4")..
I noticed loud thumps coming from the tank at night and I went to go check it out and the wolf was tossing the crayfish around like a basketball using its jaw after it had completed moulting.. while it was nice and soft.

Mine also ate shrimp, tilapia fillets and pellets. Give your guy time, he will eat.

I personally wouldn't use bloodworms as they can get messy, especially if the wolf is not eating up all of them. Maybe try an earthworm instead.
