Have any of you ever had or have one of these guys? I have heard they are much more hardy than the Indonesian ones buy I dont see them for sale online but a LFF says he can get me one for around 250.00

I'm not really sure, I figure weather or not it comes from the Red Sea it's a blue spot and may still be very very touchy...good price though.

I have a LFS not real far from me in Tinely Park thats very trustworthy around here and he said they are way more hardy than the others. Ive heard that only 1 in 5 of the Indo. ones make it and that not to good

Thats a lot of money for a fish and i never have spent that much on one.
Welcome to salt water keeping.I have heard a few times before about fish from the Red Sea being more hardy but no one has ever been able to explain how or why this is.

I have been doing salt for some years now but building a Ray pond now as i find them much more personable
Oh I see,my 'welcome' remark was a reponse to you commenting on fish prices, most saltwater fish are much more expensive than freshwater fish but its what we are into right?I had a Cortez ray before and I loved the way it would just appear from underneath the sand when food was dropped in.
