i had three of them before, the longest Ive kepp one alive was about seven months. I stop keeping them because of that reason. (i can't keep them alive). The first one only last it about a month. I have a guy in town that can get them for $100. I don't know if he will ship or not, but he have one in his shop for over two years now and he won't sell it. I keep my in my 180gal. They will eat but out of no where it will just stop eating for weeks and die. If you really want one I can ask him if he will ship and see if you can save some money if you wanted to try keeping them.
