Thats a nice Midas..

And this here is not a midas. Ask any pure breed Midas lover. Im no expert, but these I know about. I've had both red monkeys/srs and Midases.

This is a hybrid. A nice one.

ADP going around all forums and causing drama/trouble when he has no knowledge about them what so ever........ oh well, it does amuse myself seeing how one person can be so full of hate, ignorance, and time:D

those are not worth 300,not even 50 bro....and they are not srs or rm....maybe some midas rd hybrid..........

Im not going to argue with you..BUT i have never seen a late blooming flowerhorn..Most of the flowerhorns that are going to have giant KOKs all bloom at an early age.. and All the flowerhorns i have seen have an increased KOK size while breeding.. Maybe saying you dont know how to read is wrong, SORRY. I dont think you understand what im saying. You never said water changes helps out with hump size but you mention water quality, and how do you improve water quality? water changes.. im agreeing with what you say just not about the hump in the OPs post. it is non existent or close too.. seeing that there are Flowerhorns with giant KOKS popping up all over the buy and sell i wouldnt waste my money on THAT fish. I was simply answering the question asked by the OP.

Kamfa's are late bloomers :O

I wouldn't get them. You can get a egg laying female red monkey from aquaticwonderland for like 70 bucks or something and then breed it with a male RD. A few of the Red Monkey breeders told me to either use a Red devil male/red monkey female or use a hartwegi/Red Devil/Red Monkey to get Red Monkey frye. JP has a couple of better quality ones that he could probably sell you. Just my opinion. GL

Red devil/Midas are awesome, but they seem more sneaky aggressive than a Red Monkey. The red monkey tends to have a more in your face personality than the red devils. I have only had 3 red devils, so I am no expert. Just going off of what I see with my 2 devils and 2 monkeys. I heard from a large cichlid breeder that the hartwegi is not as shy as some red devils. Maybe that is why the red monkey is both not shy and in your face aggressive. As soon as I walk up to my tank the red monkey is all up in my face. He looks like he is thinking that he will whoop my arse or something if I get any closer. My red devils never smash into the tank, but my red monkey will hit the tank full speed if he is pissed. I love the RM personality. Its what makes the fish imo. Just giving my newbie opinion.
