Hi Jonny that is actually my site, but spelt "arowanas".Unless you have kept arowanas before I would advise you to do some research on the species and if you really want to keep one, start with a silver and take it from there as you are talkng about expensive fish . Hobbyists pay even more in the US if they can get them.

hi i will not go for a silver as ive herd that they need a very big tank bigger than what ive got any way unless im rong could i get one for my 6' how much would a small one cost

or right i didnot know that that was your website

Silver Arowana's are more seceptable to droop eye so be aware of that ! Droop eye is where they eye pop's out and starts to ... well... droop!

They go here in Canada for 2500$ for a 3''.

Most Red tail golds in my area go for $900 at about 6". Depending on the quality the price can be slightly higher or lower but never $2500. You are probably thinking of Super reds which are closer to that price.

most common are datnoids, cichla, rays, cats... etc...

ive never herd of cichla i bet its a kind of cichlid but predetory and datnoids never ever heard of them
