red terror festae.. is this mayan, fake red terror, true festae?

I want one that is fully red... i saw this on craigslist and wonder is that how its suppose to look when its not stable. That there's different type of festae...

That is a "true" festae IMO and looks male to me.

As far as coloration, only the females get the super red color you're likely thinking of, and only when they're displaying dominance or breeding colors.

Male festea turn yellow and are beautiful fish also. It doesn't look drawn up so at least you know it eat's.

How much are they wanting for it?

Like others have said, only the females get super bright red, and that's only a display of dominance or breeding colors. And I as well think this is a male.

I have had 2 pairs and currently have a male, it looks like a regular red terror, even washed out it looks like a terror and not the festae. Gerbers has one right now, looks exatcly like this, I got their male festae and left the terror there.
