Red Terror (I hope)

Had him for just over a month, he is eating but not as well as he was. I'm just going to do a small water change each day for a week and see if i can bring the nitrates down. A little bit worried because this fish did have ich when i first moved to this tank, maybe he had ich because there is another underlying problem.
 
Ok so i still struggle to get him to eat, he will mouth flakes but not really attack food like cichilds should do. I have done three 30% waters changes each day just to reduce the nitrates in the tank.

When i spoke to my lfs they recommended http://www.123aquatics.co.uk/produc...treatments/medication/esha-hexamita-1266.aspx saying that it will help if he has a bacteria infection or a parasite.

Anyone used this stuff?
 
For parasites, I'd probably go with Prazipro (assuming it's available to you.) The product that you linked seems to focus heavily on HITH and bacterial infections. I don't think it'd do much, if anything for parasites.
