red terror sex?

Nice pair! they are too young to sex as others mentioned. Even when I got my wild caught pair at 6inches, they were hard to tell. Females tend to get a black/blueish spot on their top fin. My male has a green sheen to him.
The best way to tell is just to wait. My pair started showing off in colours that made it pretty obvious who was who at a size not much bigger than yours are now. Put them in that 450L tank, give them caves and flowerpots so they can get away from each other if necessary, and just keep an eye on them. If you have a pair that are good together you'll know soon enough.
