Red texas cichlid? ID please

Bought more salt for the tank so gonna do a massive change to see if I can get that tank clear.

Mine came with ich and sin e they are coming from the same source you 2 should keep an eye out for it as well.

Omg I think we should! And I went to petsmart and saw true red texas so I think we got the last kamfa batchas!! The new ones got a lot of red ours don't! So jill wanna do the honor of starting the thread?

I have 2 red dragons and I'm scared they'll beat up my kamfa since they're 3in and kamfas 2in!

Go buy some Egg crate and make a divider so your babies stay safe. I did that for mine. They are in my 180 with my 2 Giant Oscars.

Okay I'm really excited on how these fish turn out if not they're still gonna be beautiful! Just hoping I get a bigger tank soon

Ours look more like juvenile Synspilum which is what Classic Kamfa are partly made from.

Is the a flower on the dorsal?

not sure its to dark to tell but i dont think it has a flower in the dorsal fin....it has a strong greenish face when in the tank
