Bought mine for $18

Ive seen 4. 3 in one fish store, 1 in another. The lowest priced fish was $229. It was about 2-3 inches. I have a vid of another one that was $289. And they have another one that is $289 too, and it isnt anywhere near the quality of the others. It looks like it has been in a couple fights.

If I could find one for $18, I would have it.

Ive seen em priced real high too,to me its a form of rape! If you look at my albums you can see that these $18 SRTs are just as nice as any expensive one you could get.Mine started off white w/blue spots all over but had alot of black blotches,after about 3 weeks he lost the black and his white started getting pink,now he's already bright orangish red with tons of blue spots at only 4".

Just checked your albums again, didnt even realize that. What size tank are those in and how is the aggression of them all?

The smaller cichilds are in a 54 corner,they're growing crazy fast so im gonna have to start dividing them.They like to fight alot though,just like any other small cichlids but they don't hurt eachother,hardly ever any ripped fins,that Red Texas is definately the dominant in the tank.The big tank is a 200 and those guys in there put on a show for me everyday,they like to start fighting with eachother but as soon as I approach to feed them they all crowd the front of the tank.I'll post updated pics of them tonight and let you see how much that Texas has changed in just a month or so..
