Hi All,
I'm based in the UK.
I am gonna go and look at some Flowerhorns at an importers house this week. He has some 4 -5" Red Texas. I have space for one flowerhorn at present and am torn between getting a 3" indo king kamfa or a RT. I will have to sort that out in my own head, when I get there and see the fish.
What I would like to know is, he has had these thai RTs from the size of 2" they are now 4-5" and whilst his pictures show some red tones, they have not faded. Is there a specific size / age I should be expecting a RT to peel / fade?
Also are there RTs that never peel?
Not to offend anyone, I only really want to commit to the fish if there is a high chance it will change to red.
What are your thoughts / experiences?
Best,
G
