You can't get another cichlid, they would fight to the death, even if it is another flowerhorn/red texas.

Your options are bicher, silver dollars/giant danios or some catfish. Whatever the option chosen, be prepared to remove those fish, if your boy goes after them.

Flowerhorn. Tank mates would be a group of mammon, gourami or silver dollar. Make sure they are about the same.
