The ones you sold me about a year ago what is their fertility rate. Mr Barth?
It under my threads caring for eggs here the link. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...-Caring-for-eggs-for-red-texas-*-blood-parrot
Thanks

Well that depends on the fish! out of the ones I have tested...so far and got hatched eggs...the rates is around 25% on the first fertilized batch..... now with the right diet and protein those numbers can increase if the fish is indeed fertile. I can never guarantee a male rt's fertility....when they were sold so young...they are untested at that time.

Yeah Im thinking it from prior experince on keeping fish but it was good decision. You think my texas is fertile like yours because I saw cj barth said yours has very good chance. Mine looks a little different then yours more like a flowerhorn then a texas. That Punk never responds back to me......

Well this punk has 3 kids and currently a 60 hour a week job!!! Sorry I can't post all of the time and respond back right away!!!

Thats crazy she gave him the business she is so much smaller than he is. She is living up to her name though lol

The thing is he doesn't fight back. He just lets her keep attacking. She bit off 30% of his dorsal fin and made a huge gap in his caudal fin. I had to bring the divider out when the tank water was starting to stain from the blood. Not sure if I want to continue using her..

how big is the tank? what I do sometimes is divide a small setion of the tank and put another fish n there so the pair can try to get at it has worked for me so far and the pair bond more

50gallons. I dont have any fish that I can use as a target fish.. and if I were to buy one, it'd be a blood parrot(Sorry Chris lol).

I tried putting her in my monster tank, she ended up beating the snot out of everything in there. I put her back in the 50 and removed the divider, the male is flaring up and trying to court her, but she's still not willing to get to it..
