since when do red tiger mota males get bigger than 12"? I would say a male could work in a 55 for quite a while they max at 12" so they will stay around the 10" mark for some time.

Might be what you want, but this kid has tankmates. They aren't going to be solitary fish in his 55 gallon.

A female festae wouldn't be too bad in a 55 gallon by itself, but certainly not with severums and bichirs.

Congrats on your FFF's (Female Fifty-Fives) hope they turn out nice. Name the Labiatus Angelina Jolie because since its F1 it will have huge lips.

The Labiatus wont be female, but what the heck, Agelina it is. The JD's arent females either. Only the Mota/Festae(wichever I can get my hands on first)
