Outstanding!! I have 3 of these...but they are really hard to get pictures of! Think I have 1 male and 2 females (well that's what the lfs said)... could mean so changes to the 90g to accommodate all 3.

These 2 appear to be a 'pair' I know they are too young the this but they seem to hang around together and chase off the third who is pictured below. Any ID's you can give would be great! And I hate be a stickler but are you sure these are RTM? As the shop said they were very definatley not and just regular motagenses... just curious. Thanks for your help.

I just recalled they had them listed in the shop as false yellow jacket parachromis motagenses... if that helps.

personally i think they are rtms than freddys. may be other folks can comment too?

at this age i think you have 3 females but then theyvcould just be too young. male rtms have spots on their gill plate

3 females!! Man there is going to be a lot of tension and social judgement in that tank... lol :-) thanks dude. I hope you are right that they are RTM... I have wanted some for years but they are very hard/impossible to find over here.

They look like Rtm in my opinion also... The color is just beginning to develop... I took a fair amount of pictures of mine when they were small, just as they were developing color and throughout their color changing and pattern development process... In yours I can see the beginning color starting in the Gill plate area which in males it develops spotty and females into the familiar red that we know them by.... I'll look for some pics of my male when he was small and post later.....
