Red-tipped EBJD

Just wondering if anyone had seen this before. I was a bit suprised when my Electric Blue started showing bright red. Let me know what you guys think.

Once mine hit 5.5" he got it, hes at 7" now and it comes and goes....

Some retain the red strip although it seems to come and go depending on mood. It gets so dark that at times it looks black.

I concur with the above. Mine had it along the entire length of the dorsal, and now it's gone... I bet it'll come back too.

Sometimes they have yellow in the dorsal fin too.

Nice dempsey! Good job on raising it to that size so far dude!

I had red tipped dorsal fins on my EBJD , it passed at around 5". RIP

my 5in. males red comes and goes right now its pinkish

that one looks great! mine didnt amke it too far! after a water change its tank mates decided not to tolerate a lil blue fish that stays by itself! and killed it! would leave it alone! i took it out it was dieing! it had a cloudy eye! i gave it some stuff for it but it died!

but anyway it isnt about me and my self pity its about your frikin awsome EBJD!
