Thanks for not flaming.:)

But I will ask this and step away, Do you know anyone who had/have a regular jack dempsey pair that produced any blue dempsey's? I can see why no one noticed them before. But at the price they are selling, I would guess that most dempsey owners would be looking for them. Yet no one has come forward that I know of.

If I get flamed now, I know I deserve it. I just want to say, hybrid or not I bought some in the past and I recently bought another one.

I know of one person who has bred his EBJD male to a regular female, and took a daughter that carried the gene to breed back to the male to get his very one EBJD fry... he took pics, and made a very nice journal/thread for many to watch-- Ormed on www.cichlid-forum.com

After all the attention I think I'm definitely gonna try to breed him. Are there any indicators for a BGJD female or do you have to track down someone whose had a batch with an EBJD parent?

Searching for a plain color JD with the Blue gene is going to end whith some A hole lying to you :) I woul search for a breeder. There was a Guy on here that had a grip !! Search the breedign section :) He could lead you in the right direction as I think he might have let them all go to some one ....

Go to Bluejax's site and look at the forums. There's a "for sale" forum there. The guy who is best known for breeding these is Ormed - Randy Sorenson (I think I have the name right).
