That is a good idea.. Keep the lights low and give him overhead cover and they will become tame.I keep 1 singular Exodon Paradoxus with my guys ( I would not suggest). They will not eat him and he leaves them alone. However I expect that it is just a matter of time... He has been in there for well over 8 months .. So maybe not... Again good luck and post some pics when you get it going!

Can they be housed with catfish like pictus or loaches

opposite of my ideal tank. lol Not sure about this but I think loaches can suck on the coats of the wolf fish and stress it out.

I was surprised the loach didn't become lunch. But I guess either way its not a good mix.
