Welcome to MFK. What are you planning on keeping your RTC as it gets bigger. Also do you have any pics of the little guy.
 
happy til he eats you out of your house/car payment, and all your other fish lol. JK, hope it goes well for you. Just a suggestion, but you might want to plan on making a huge indoor pond for him within the year or prepare for a huge custom aquarium. Or go the extreme route I have heard several other people do and eat him when he gets too big for you. I wouldn't but I have heard from others that RTC tastes like pork lol.
 
They are nice and cute.....untill they grow up..... and you realize you might have gotten a whale instead of a catfish:eek:

i have had mine for 3 months and its already 8" and i have another for the same amount of time and it is 6" they grow fast my friend they grow fast!:grinyes:
 
just be careful
my 8 inch one ate a 25 dollar chinese perch
trust me i would rather have the perch back then the rtc
