if i were you, i wouldn't feed live. try to keep his habbit controled to prepared foods and your more likely to have tankmates with him in the long run. if he gets used to chasing his food down he will eat his tankmates for sure.

I definly agree with you. If a Rtc has the taste for fish meat that is what it perfere to alwayz eat.

Damn I really want to do one of these, but I definately do not have a tank sizeable enough to do that right now! My biggest tank is a 90g with 2 breeding Albino Red Tiger Oscars.

I'd need a MASSIVE tank for one of those it sounds, but it really does sound exciting to say the least! One day!

He's turning into a reallll monster! He just ate 4 goldfish one after the other!!!!!! He looks like he could burst! I'll definitely take some pictures though. I jsut added 2 tinfoil barbs to the mix as well!

when my RTC was at six inches it ate 12dozen bass minnows! it look like a milk cow with a bright blood red tail.
