a wonderfull fish to have, if you have the space and the attention to the water it requires because it is a heavy feeder. I've had one that swallowe ( my mistake ) 3 30 cm's oscars that I put in his tank thinking stupidly that they were above "feeder" size..swllowed the 3 of them, one after the other in less than 1 minute...I just stood there, unbelieving..the oscars were easy to catch by the rtc because they wer coming new into the tank so they wer confused, low reaction... kless than a minute...
