It's been a month and alot has changed. Rescaped the entire tank to the utter disgust of my fish. I think they tire of my mettling and are planning to kill me in my sleep. Added a huge piece of manzanita. Up to around 30 plant species. Gave away my Pleco who was ripping my plants apart. Any critiques are welcome.

It seems like a nice planted tank, but it seems to be lacking colorful fish. I would put a couple more different colorful fish in to spice things up.

The three fish (ornate bichir, Peacock bass and IT datnoid) will out grow this tank in a year or so. The current bioload is perfectly balanced to provide the right amount of Nitrate and Phosphate for the plants needs. Sometimes I wish I had smaller fish so I could have more color and diversity like you said but I like the unorthodox mix of Plants + Large Predators.

Personally, I love that tank. It's not often we get a big planted tank with large predators. Good job. Any way we could get a higher res FTS?

Why yes you can. I just purchased my first PSLR camera. I'll post some better pics, once I figure out how to use it.

tank looks fantastic! I am a non monster guy, i like lots of little things compared to one big thing. So i have little fish, shrimp, insects etc. Your plants look very nice. Enjoy

I really like this tank, I'm sure the fishes feel very comfortable in there considering most peoples tanks with large fish don't have plants at all, like the natural habitat would
