you have been a great help! I think i will go to petsmart tomorrow and take one of there 74.99 xp 3's have the other for a rainyday proj......witch means i am also ready to star building a 150 piece by piece i have rock dec pump filt...... but.....what about the aqua clear 110 for 39.99 are they a good combo with an xp3? should i not waste my time?
 
I've only heard great reviews from people with an Aqua Clear 110 and the xp3 combination. What are you going to use as media inside your XP3?
 
???? havn't got that far yet if someone has the parts i need pls help otherwise i will have to spend 50.00 on the accesseries a brand new one is 79.00 so it doesn't make sense to me to buy the acc tray when it is only 20.00 cheaper than the whole machine! if anyone can send me the pieces that would be great other wise i will go with 2 ac 110's so i can up the filtration on my 55's for the same money! 2 70's on the big tank? will this be enough or should i fix the xp3.
 
so you are only missing the trays on the XP3? If so can't u just make or buy some trays like the ones people use on their W/D filters?
 
hey im in prosser, and have the pick up tube and spray bar for an eheim 2028, i dont know if the tubing is the same size, but i think it is. if you want them we can work something out.
