I was thinking about renting a Lull to move it into my fish room..... maybe you guys rent them?

Just do it, tear the roof off, forget the 2200 and make that basement a tank. You are moving towards that anyway! LOL

:WHOA: It would almost be easier to cut a hole behind your 300 and place the tank behind the fish room and just build an add on around the tank. That way you would only have to move one tank, but it would probably be a pain to frame and side the thing to match the fish room.

I don't think that I am going to be able to make it over there this Saturday...my mom has decided that she needs to come down on Saturday, instead of Sunday. She gave me the old "What's more important...a 2200 gallon fish tank or your mother?" And I had to reply "Do you want the truth or do you want me say you?". :D I will let you guys know.

Not a tank move but great moments in engineering LOL. This should be documented for TV so we can all watch it.

repair....just a thought...

once I saw how a forklift lifted a diesel truck motor...with a chain harness, like a fishing pole, instead of sticking the forks underneath. You might consider a chain harness, of course with 4x4 stringers...so it won't crush the structure. Once it is in the air, a few guys can manuever it in position. Pretty much the same way roof frames are installed.:headbang2 ...then again, I'm just an armchair engineer..:D

thats what I'm planning on doing.

I talked to my guy, and he said they dont do that anymore because of insurance. Things were better back in the old days. NES most likely has the cheapest rental rates, and they usually have a nice assortment of Lull type equipment.
