Repeat and Regret

Anyone ever get a fish that they wanted just to be disappointed in it for whatever reason, rehome it, and then try again and again?

I'm always thinking of Convicts, but I've had them twice in the past and for some reason, I want them again. I've always kind of liked them, but space commitment and aggression is mostly the reason I stay clear from them now a days, but I want them again, lol!

All have simillar carer equirements to convicts, but slightly different aggressive quotients.
The sajia and cutteri get larger, and may require larger tanks, as adults.

I just recently buried my last severum. I'm looking to get some plants now that he's gone. I've had severums for the last 25 years destroying most of my plants.
