as for the salmonella, i dont know why u rule it out! lol they CAN give it.. and he CAN get it again, if he doesnt wash properly

Salmonella is horrible, regardless of where it comes from. I had to go through it about a year ago. I got mine from reptiles for sure. At the time I was working in a Museum working with hundreds of reptiles a day and two days before symptoms came on the water was not working and I was unable to wash my hands properly. Hang in there.
