Try wrapping some strong fishing line around 2 blocks and use the fishing line like a knife...just a quick thought off the top of the noodle... I'll think about something else as well

i think if you do what i said and follow it up with basslovers idea, it might work. but wear some gloves and goggles ha

Ok, I finally got the glass off! WOOHOO!!! Of course I underestimated the weight of the large piece of glass and chipped the side. No big deal, as the big piece that I got off of it can be cut down to replace the side. I found a thinner exacto blade and was able to push it down the seams to separate the glass. Blades were 2$!

So now, all thats left is to clean up the rest of the tank, and wait for the glass house to get my class in and cut the other piece down to size.

I can't remember the last time I've been this exited about building a tank! Maybe because the last one I re-built was a 55.
