No I never treated him for internal parasites. The LFS said that he got bullied by the other fish in the tank and did not get to eat. They saw no need to take him out and put him in a different tank. I figured it was just malnutrition and he put weight on steadily once I got him home and he was getting feed twice a day and live food 3 days a week.

I usually treat my new fish w/ salt and prazipro. If his stomach stays like that after more time, you might want to try it. I've had some wild festae come in w/ tummys like that and after treatment they fill right out.
