Rescued silver aro-looks like it's been in a car wreck

If that eye doesn't come back, I might consider looking into home surgery for the other one. His pupil isn't even fully visible on the the eye that's dropped, so I imagine he can only see a few inches on that one side. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be doing surgery for the appearance of the fish. It would be so the fish could actually see somewhat normal and live a normal life. I think it would prefer to chase down its food, rather than me basically putting it right into its mouth. I will give it a while to see what happens and do some research in the meantime.

Give it a lot of while before deciding on such an invasive procedure.

I would never do it, myself.

To be honest, it doesn't look that invasive. Just cut out the build up of fatty tissue above the eye and cut the tissue holding the eye down. It is just a thought I had if the other eye doesn't come back. She can barely see anything as she is right now.

I see. But give it quite some time. The old warrior does not need any added stress :)

:)

Well I did eye surgery. It was disgusting how much fat that came out. Didn't quite do the best job, but it is definitely an improvement already! image.jpg
