rescured a Geo....what is it??

Well a Geo pair appeared in my lfs a few weeks ago - I guess somebody brought them in. Looked very good at the time but were priced at $100....

Q: "what are these?"
A: "they are Geophagus"
D: "Geophagus what?"
A: ".....what do you mean? they are Geophagus!".

Anyway, the female died a couple of weeks ago. Killed by the male according to them, but I doubt it. Went again last week and decided to buy it before it killed itself naughty.

He's very happy in my 220g now, hanging out with some Geos, Gymnos and severums. Time for the big question....what is it???

He's probably around 5".

the stripes along the body and on the fins if I were to guess that or abalios tamanaco
