Restarting a Monster Comm

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Probably either the bass or Oscar has to go some point in time. At the moment they are functioning well to keep the peace and order in the tank. Both of them pushes around but do not inflict any serious damages.

You are right about the wolves hiding. LOL! The tank has a 3 foot width so there are some hiding spots in the shadows behind. :)

If you want a peacekeeper and they're serving as one the bass will likely grow larger and serve as that for longer

Will keep that in mind. Not sure how big this one will grow (suspected kelberi hybrid) but good to have him around - would be better if I can break him off live feeders.

I'm not into peacock bass, they're pretty but it seems they're really common and I like to try and be different though in this world it's impossible lol. So I couldn't help you ID him, but from my understanding they're greedy so maybe just hold out and after a month if you get nothing give him a few and try again, you have to keep in mind these fish don't always have food available for them in the wild and go weeks, sometimes months without eating. So with that in mind, and knowing a healthy fish won't allow itself to starve to death, just go about your normal feedings for the other fish and he'll learn.
