Dec. Sounds perfect! It will just have silvers and maybe rainbows in it until then. And OMG 2000 gallons? :nilly: What will you put in that? Will that take up the entire office or will there be like a viewing area? If you pull that off I cant wait to see pics. :popcorn:

Im working on the same thing. Have a male and female Motoro and going to see if I can breed. It should be ahwile though, my Motoro's are still young. Female is about 6 1/2 inches around and male is just over 5 inches. So still young but looking forward to it.
 
Going to open up the wall under the stairs again and put all "equipment" behind the tank. And then the doorway and everything will be hidden. Viewing window on the front in the hall was looking at having a standard acrylic window placed with a size of 48x96 and 1.5 inch thick. But it will pretty much take up the whole office, I'm not using it so hell it might as well hold water right? LOL Probably won't be able to have it built until 2012, but thats the plan.....now the question is fresh or salt????
 
Heck ya if there is free space make it hold water..lol That would be one heck of a salt tank...but it would definitely be big enough to 1. get your arawanna and 2. get the leos you always wanted. You could always make it a giant fresh tank and turn the other one into a salt tank. Thank goodness you have some time to think about it...lol:grinno:
 
Always have time.... and after figuring out size in dimensions looks like it will be just shy of 2700 gallons. Not going to wait on a bigger tank befor I get the aro I have room for one now, so thats the next addition into the tank, also may go dats, and geos. On a side note threw in 3 guppies from my planted tank that I tore down 1 got eaten immediatly other 2 made it over 2 weeks one just dissapeared 2 days ago and I look in the tank this morning and to my surprise I see babies at the top of the water LOL. More food for the fish right!

And she is officially pregnant again! This time there is movement on both sides! So i am looking at having pups right around the 15th of November and at least 2 of them. So So So excited!
