By the looks of it... it's a skinny polypterus palmas polli. Pointy snout, retro got a wider head.

Yes that is a very good price, are you sure it is labelled correctly? If it's anything other than a senegal though, the price is good.

It should do fine with other bichirs.

that's a good price for such a fish, especially since my senegal was purchased at 7 inches for $25. that's what a larger senegal goes for in my market. i know that petsmart sells little bitty senegals for about $7.

Yup nice polli. They have a great personality and it seems like they never stay still just like a sene does.

Lol usually the senes are at the top. He'll settle in. Mine are all over.
