The goal of any flowerhorn owner is to get the max of its fish potential, which means color and Kok. Thats what being a flowerhorn owner is all about. This is why they buy particular foods for that purpose... Ching mix...Red Sumo.. Humpy head etc.
I was just responding to a previous remark about increasing Kok size.

...I hear it used a lot on the flowerhorn forums. Every time someone post a new fish everybody assumes it's malnourished....
Another thing to factor in is tank size. If the tank is to small, the fish will not get the excercise it should get.. less swimming etc along with water quality
