Eheims don't make big sized pumps though do they? I shopped around for an Eheim but could only find smaller pumps...I decided to go with the Mag12 by the way, will let you guys know how that goes seems to be general agreement that it is a good pump will run it internal keep the thread goin!!!

The biggest (1262) pumps about 900 GPH. After that, I go external.

Keep in mind, most single overflows won't handle much water, and double overflows are on large tanks that need big water movement. So, I find "Eheim or Dart" to be my basic question.

on my 125g i have a single overflow. anything larger than that i don't consider them an option. the tandem single overflows are much nicer. have one on each end of the tank and a spray along the whole middle of the tank. much more water movement and just all around cleaner tank. btw i have a rio 2100+ on my 125g and a mag 12 lined up on the 180g. gl with ur mag 12
