dang they are looking a lot more yellow/gold since the last time i saw them! looking good and great save! btw you should think about swapping the background to a blue background because it will help their colors pop out.

Yeah its weird....they been holding a darker color and only after last nights water change the seemed more of a gold color. To be honest, when i put the bigger bahia back in the tank after it jumped out is when i first noticed they all got lighter.

Close one is right, I've noticed that these bahias like to jump a lot. Glad you made it in time.. How about some larger sized pictures? ;)

Ill try and use a better camera and take some better pics and close ups. Hopefully my bigger cichlas get sold soon and i can put the geos in the 225 so the bahias can have the 10 gal to themselves.

Once i get over the flu, I'll take some updated pictures. They are eating like pigs and are very active. Luckily the 2 days i was completely out of it, my girlfriend was feeding them their pellets. She told me she even crushed them because she knows the smaller one spits out the pellet. Funny thing is the very next day the smaller one finally starts eating the whole pellet...haha. Also until this point she has never fed any of my cichlas.....her job is usually feeding the bettas.

ahahah All it took was a lady's touch.. If she keeps feeding them, they will eventually grow on her. ;)
