That's the weirdest thing I've heard about rhcp. Up to Mothers Milk those albums are classics!

They just kinda hung around for the $$ after that.

i agree, but there one of those bands i grew up with so i have to see them at least once. im kinda curious about anthonie's "toilet tag" comments in the past.

You could ask how klinghoffers fitting in with the rest, if there's any interesting differences due to the age gap between him and the rest of the band. Be nosy and ask if they still keep in contact with frusciante and if so, what he's up to these days

By the way, I saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Pine Street Theater in Portland on New Year's Eve, 1988. I think that they played with GBH, but I can't remember for sure. Man, I'm starting to feel old...
